T-66 Tracks and Sprockets

The T-66 are have fantastic right down to the smallest detail each link has steel pins with a bulged head , this to make sure the pin does not back-out during operation and can be easily removed during maintenance. The metal T-66 tracks offer reliability, durability and allows for traction in just about any conduction, as well as adds needed weight for the suspension of the tank to react to terrain in a more realistic fluid motion.

The transmissions are very impressive the twin steel geared transmissions puts-out massive torque at a steady rate. The steel gears provides durability that will last the duration this is just one of the many upgrades that this combo special offers and what an improvement over the Sherman's stock gearboxes!

Sherman Return Roller set

The high detailed return roller set is a refreshing upgrade to the stock set and offers improvements like real rubber wheels that support the track and roll and not freeze-up only the grind down on one side as the stock set tends to do. By providing less friction and drag the return roller set will help extend the running life of your tank and serve to reduce maintenance. The set installs very easy and uses your current set of bushings provided my Tamiya in the kit, the rubber wheels have a flange that snaps into place and keeps the wheel in place on it's hub.

Sherman Idler Mount Kit

The idler mount kit is an innovative and much needed upgrade, the idlers really take a beating from the stress of operation. The stock idler setup tends wear and snap the axles after time. Now this is a problem of the past, this idler system comes with everything you need for install. Just a simple drill and a small screwdriver is all the tools you need the set even comes with the correct size 8.9mm drill bit and easy to follow instructions.

Sherman Idler Bracket Kit

Another problematic area of the Tamiya Sherman is the connection points of the idler brackets that tend to bend the hull due to the stress of the track pulling forward. This is largely contributed to a stock slender threaded aluminum alloy bracket (part# MS3), the "Idler Bracket Kit" is designed and built by Daryl Turner a long time RC tank parts designer and manufacturer as well as an RC Tank competition player, the bracket is made of steel and much larger than stock giving a much wider and stronger point of contact for the idlers.

Low-Resistance Deans Plugs

The deans plugs offer the ability to unplug the motors fast for easy maintenance as well as reduce the length of the motor wires. The plugs are very easy to install simply cut off both male and female ends of the Tamiya  stock connectors cut back the plastic insulation on all four wires and simply solder the wires on the rear of the deans plugs making sure you cut a small piece of the shrink tube provided and slide it over the wire, both red and black shrink tubes are included (Red for POS and Black for NEG).

Elevation Arm

The elevation arm is yet another needed upgrade designed to replace the easy break stock black plastic one in the kit, simply remove the old one and replace with the metal one then set the set screw at the bottom you will need to remove part (MK8) the pivot ball, and screw it into the new arm.
